About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Collaborate with architecture, engineering, and construction teams, third-party contractors, and government partners to support mission-related infrastructure projects.
  • Utilize drawings, specifications, photographs, and other technical documentation to assess and improve site and building security.
  • Review and provide technical comments on analysis, design, and construction project deliverables.
  • Coordinate with program managers to support development and updates to program strategies, schedules, budgets, and planning documentation.
  • Document and track meetings, project activities, and program updates.
  • Engage with internal and external stakeholders to support planning and execution of design and construction projects.
  • Assist in developing Scopes of Work (SOWs) and preparing contract packages for future acquisitions.
  • Support coordination with contractors, subcontractors, design teams, and owner representatives on large-scale construction projects.

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Active Top Secret security clearance required.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, or Construction Management.
  • 5-10 years of experience supporting program or project management activities within the construction or engineering industry.
  • Experience reviewing and interpreting construction drawings, specifications, and contract documentation.
  • Experience working on large construction projects and coordinating with contractors, subcontractors, and design teams.
  • Ability to work independently, take ownership of responsibilities, and develop solutions to complex problems.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder coordination skills.
  • Preferred: Experience using blast effect modeling tools such as VAPO, 3D Blast, Urban Blast Tool, or Extreme Loading for Structures (ELS).
  • Preferred: Experience supporting federal or government construction programs.
  • Preferred: Familiarity with security-related infrastructure design or protective construction standards.
  • Preferred: Professional Engineer (PE) license or progress toward licensure.
  • Preferred: Experience supporting senior executive-level federal customers in highly secure, high-visibility operational environments.
