About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Provide troubleshooting and operational support for satellite voice/data, landline, and secure/non-secure telephone communications systems
- Support a 24/7 Operations Center environment with emphasis on incident response and event management
- Operate, monitor, maintain, and troubleshoot communications infrastructure, including: Routers and switches, Servers, Leased-line communications systems, Cryptographic equipment, UHF communications equipment
- Monitor and maintain the integrity of multiple high-speed data links
- Identify, isolate, and resolve network and communications faults
- Develop and maintain network and system monitoring tools supporting global communications infrastructure
- Use data analytics and data science techniques to improve situational awareness and predictive monitoring of deployed systems
- Provide VIP communications support for senior government officials when required
Requirements
What you’ll need- Active TS/SCI w/ Polygraph
- 8+ years of experience supporting a mission operation center within telecommunications
