About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • The Medical Review Nurse Analyst position consists of documenting the sequence of events based on the protocol for the project they are currently working on.
  • Responsible for the preparation of the work products; with an emphasis on analysis of the data.
  • Arrives to work in a timely manner, sets the example for employee behavior and interaction.
  • Coordinates work product assignments and monitors completion of medical review to meet set deadlines on assigned schedule.
  • Conducts daily analysis of records available for review, and report discrepancies.
  • Maintains a thorough understanding of the client expectations related to medical review work product so as to provide appropriate support to Medical Review Division.
  • Adheres to medical review prioritization protocols on all assigned tasks.
  • Maintain a thorough understanding of all internal and external software programs utilized by the Medical Review Division in order to provide appropriate support.

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • PC usage is frequent, and an employee must possess considerable knowledge and experience in the application/operation of software programs that go beyond basic word processing.
  • Properly communicates with the Medical Review Division Management team to streamline, prioritize and create/suggest problem resolutions and/or solutions that may impact clients and other departments.
  • Needs to adjust arrival, lunch and departure schedule as workload, client and project management demand dictates.
  • Monitor workload and alert management when assignments are over/under capabilities and client needs are not being met.
  • Demonstrate keyboarding proficiency as required by specific job duties.
  • Detail oriented.
  • Must be able to work well and respectfully with peers as well as supervisors.
  • Ability to listen adequately and receive information accurately while maintaining a positive attitude to accomplish job performance is required.
  • Position may require ability to work under time-deadline pressure at times.
