About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Set up dive stations and ensure all equipment is functioning as designed
  • Complete required daily safety sheets and participate in daily safety meetings
  • Follow health and safety procedures related to the work
  • Perform underwater inspections and construction
  • Perform associated topside work
  • Conduct basic construction tasks involving concrete, steel, carpentry, welding, and fabrication
  • Understand project scope and associated tasks
  • Understand line pull, rigging, and crane signals
  • Demonstrate proper rigging techniques
  • Complete assigned tasks and meet agreed-upon expectations
  • Perform shop and equipment maintenance as needed
  • Work in rugged and adverse weather conditions and perform duties outside normal working hours when required

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Commercial dive school certificate, US Navy dive training certificate, or ADCI dive certification card
  • 0+ years of experience required
  • Current Blood Borne Pathogens certification
  • Current First Aid certification
  • Current CPR certification
  • Current DAN O2 Administration certification
  • Valid Driver’s License
  • Current ADCI “Fit to Dive” physical
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to manage tasks efficiently and effectively
  • Ability to perform basic construction work involving concrete, steel, carpentry, welding, and fabrication
  • Ability to understand line pull, rigging, and crane signals
  • Ability to work overtime and outside normal working hours when required
  • Must be authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship now or in the future
  • Preferred: 10hr OSHA General Construction Course
  • Preferred: Certified Welder
  • Preferred: Mechanic background
  • Ability to lift and/or move up to 75 pounds, and occasionally up to 100 pounds
  • Ability to walk in rugged conditions, work in adverse weather, and stand up to eight hours or more
