About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Set up a dive station and ensure all equipment is functioning as designed
Complete required daily safety sheets and participate in daily safety meetings
Understand and follow health and safety procedures
Perform commercial diving services, including underwater inspections and construction
Perform associated topside work
Apply basic construction skills including concrete, steel, carpentry, welding, and fabrication
Understand project scope and associated tasks
Execute line pulls, rigging, and crane signals
Demonstrate proper rigging techniques
Complete assigned tasks and meet agreed-upon expectations
Perform shop and equipment maintenance as needed
Work in rugged and adverse weather conditions and perform duties outside normal hours when required

Requirements

What you’ll need

Commercial dive school certificate, US Navy dive training certificate, or ADCI dive certification card
0+ years of experience required
Current Blood Borne Pathogens certification
Current First Aid certification
Current CPR certification
Current DAN O2 Administration certification
Valid Driver’s License
Current ADCI “Fit to Dive” physical
Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
Strong organizational skills and ability to manage tasks efficiently and effectively
Basic construction skills in concrete, steel, carpentry, welding, and fabrication
Ability to understand line pull, rigging, and crane signals
Ability to demonstrate proper rigging techniques
Ability to lift/move up to 75 pounds and occasionally up to 100 pounds
Ability to work rugged conditions, adverse weather, and stand up to eight hours or more
Ability and availability to work overtime and outside normal working hours
Must be authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship now or in the future
