About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Assist within the shop with equipment maintenance and repairs
- Load/unload gear and supplies for projects
- Work on projects to assist with various inspections and construction activities in support of diving and engineering-related projects
- Attend and hold daily field and shop safety meetings
- Learn and execute a variety of inspection or construction-related tasks
- Perform equipment maintenance and repairs, fabrication, and other related tasks
- Troubleshoot technical issues and provide innovative solutions
- Understand project scopes and complete tasks safely and efficiently
Requirements
What you’ll need- High School Diploma or equivalent
- 1-3 years of relevant experience preferred
- Valid US Driver’s License
- 10hr or 30hr OSHA General Construction Course preferred
- Department of Transportation (DOT) commercial license preferred
- Heavy equipment operation experience preferred
- Mobile crane certification preferred
- Experience with fabrication and a certified welder preferred
- Mechanic background preferred
- Current Blood Borne Pathogens, First Aid, CPR, O2 Administration certifications preferred
