About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Develop contracting strategies and regional/local sourcing strategies
  • Lead bid packages from development through purchase order execution
  • Participate in vendor pre-bid meetings and site walks
  • Prepare and negotiate service and supply agreement terms and conditions
  • Manage rate sheets and ensure cost competitiveness
  • Run benchmark studies, analyze data, and make recommendations
  • Maintain contract compliance, minimize risk, and manage master agreements and amendments
  • Coach business unit contract owners on contract performance and compliance
  • Serve as a liaison between legal, stakeholders, business units, suppliers, and Supply Chain
  • Identify and execute cost savings, cost avoidance, revenue enhancement, and strategic sourcing projects
  • Optimize the supply base and deliver financial benefits
  • Facilitate supplier performance issue resolution and develop supplier KPIs
  • Use Supply Chain tools, templates, and systems to drive continuous improvement and process optimization
  • Align sourcing activities with Supply Chain and stakeholder expectations while supporting best-practice deployment

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • Entry level experience as a supply chain professional in strategic sourcing, supply chain management, commercial advisory, contract administration, contract development, or contract management
  • Experience with SAP, Ariba, Tableau, M365, and TRACK
  • Ability to develop contracting and sourcing strategies
  • Ability to analyze commercial, financial, and business data
  • Ability to perform negotiations, benchmark studies, root cause analysis, and total cost of ownership/should cost modeling
  • Ability to manage contracts, supplier relationships, KPIs, and compliance
  • Ability to qualify contractors and assess operating risks
