About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Collaborates with affected departments during project development to vet resource estimates, schedules, business benefits, environmental/health/safety impacts
- Facilitates project detailed design and technical reviews to ensure design meets corporate engineering standards
- Prepares bid requests for material, labor, and equipment and evaluate proposals on sound engineering and business principles
- Supports multiple projects simultaneously of varying magnitude and complexity from conception to commissioning and start-up
- Acts as a safety leader who upholds company core values and prioritizes personal and process safety
- Tracks project budgets, work orders, and purchase orders, and schedules and maintain a firm understanding of potential issues before they arise
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering from a four-year accredited college or university
- Civil, Mechanical, or similar are preferred
- 3+ years of industry experience preferred
- Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills
