About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

You deliver solutions and algorithms to Manukai’s CAM engineering team to solve common challenges.
You enable seamless communication between the different Manukai modules and CAM Add-Ins.
You are responsible for defining, documenting, and coordinating the software integrations into CAM software.
Along with this, you will be involved in code reviews to continuously improve our code base.
Additionally, you'll be responsible for quality via testing, analyzing, and engagement with customers.
Ideally, you identify problems before they reach production stage.
Implementation and testing of algorithms and interfaces to solve manufacturing problems
Create tools that help the CAM engineering team validate performance and correctness of their implementation
Define, document, and support the implementation of a scalable software architecture
Documentation of architecture, data flow, and data schemas
Implement CAM UI elements
Maintain good software quality and sustainable development.
Review code developed by the CAM engineering team members, and provide feedback to ensure best practices (e.g., reusability, testability, efficiency, and style)

Requirements

What you’ll need

Advanced degree (MSc or PhD) in a quantitative field
Good knowledge of object-oriented programming languages such as C++, and C# .NET
Strong understanding of software design
Extensive knowledge of Windows operating systems
Good understanding of version control, testing, continuous integration, build, deployment and monitoring
Experience leveraging AI-assisted development tools (e.g., LLMs) to enhance productivity and accelerate code delivery
Advantageous: Experience with CAD/CAM software development
Advantageous: Experience with documentation and project management tools
