Key responsibilities & impact

Own the project schedule end-to-end: develop, maintain, and drive it across internal teams, EPCs, vendors, and host-site stakeholders
Track technical deliverables, identify risks early, and keep the team ahead of schedule
Facilitate weekly status meetings and ensure clear, consistent communication across all project parties
Review and track engineering deliverables: P&IDs, equipment specifications, QA/QC documentation, and engineering test procedures
Coordinate across disciplines to resolve interface issues and keep design progressing
Produce clear, concise project reports and updates for leadership and stakeholders

Requirements

What you’ll need

7+ years in project management or project engineering in an industrial setting, with at least one full commissioning or startup campaign
Experience with coal, solid fuels, or high-temperature combustion processes is strongly preferred
B.Eng. or B.S. in Chemical, Mechanical, or a related engineering discipline; PMP designation is an asset
Comfortable in coal plants, cement kilns, or other heavy industrial environments
Organized with clear documentation, clean handoffs, and no loose ends
Ability to communicate well across a mixed audience — engineers, operators, executives, and site contractors
