About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Operation, development and support of in-house applications, cloud applications on AWS and selected SaaS solutions
  • Further development of existing AWS setups with a focus on architecture, security, permissions, networking, IaC and operations
  • Management of container-based applications (ECS) and participation in Infrastructure-as-Code solutions using AWS CDK and TypeScript
  • Design, maintenance and optimization of CI/CD pipelines, particularly with GitLab
  • Independent analysis and handling of incidents, including coordination with IT, business units and external partners
  • Creation and maintenance of technical and process documentation
  • Participation in projects and support of infrastructure-related and regulatory measures
  • Familiarization with domain topics such as accounting, compliance and regulatory reporting

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Degree in (business) computer science or a comparable qualification
  • Several years of experience in a DevOps, development or application management environment
  • Solid practical experience in AWS (cloud setup, networking, security, permissions, architecture and operations), ideally including ECS
  • Experience building and operating CI/CD pipelines, preferably with GitLab
  • Knowledge of Infrastructure as Code (ideally AWS CDK with TypeScript)
  • Very good SQL skills, particularly with Oracle and PostgreSQL
  • Experience in incident support as well as structured analysis and documentation
  • Independent, structured working style, team player and enthusiasm for new technical and domain topics
  • Willingness to be on-site one day per week
  • Very good German and good English skills
