About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Operation, development and support of in-house applications, cloud applications on AWS and selected SaaS solutions
Further development of existing AWS setups with a focus on architecture, security, permissions, networking, IaC and operations
Management of container-based applications (ECS) and participation in Infrastructure-as-Code solutions using AWS CDK and TypeScript
Design, maintenance and optimization of CI/CD pipelines, particularly with GitLab
Independent analysis and handling of incidents, including coordination with IT, business units and external partners
Creation and maintenance of technical and process documentation
Participation in projects and support of infrastructure-related and regulatory measures
Familiarization with domain topics such as accounting, compliance and regulatory reporting

Requirements

What you’ll need

Degree in (business) computer science or a comparable qualification
Several years of experience in a DevOps, development or application management environment
Solid practical experience in AWS (cloud setup, networking, security, permissions, architecture and operations), ideally including ECS
Experience building and operating CI/CD pipelines, preferably with GitLab
Knowledge of Infrastructure as Code (ideally AWS CDK with TypeScript)
Very good SQL skills, particularly with Oracle and PostgreSQL
Experience in incident support as well as structured analysis and documentation
Independent, structured working style, team player and enthusiasm for new technical and domain topics
Willingness to be on-site one day per week
Very good German and good English skills
