About the role
- Support the organization of internal and external events, workshops, and conferences.
- Track event timelines and action items, keeping the master calendar up to date.
- Prepare logistics notes, participant communications, event materials, and post-event evaluations.
- Coordinate travel logistics—including flights, ground transport, accommodation, and travel documentation.
- Communicate with participants to ensure they have the right information at the right time.
- Source venues, manage bookings, and ensure readiness of space, technology, and supplies.
- Liaise with vendors (e.g., catering, printing) and manage payments with the finance team.
- Provide on-site event support and assist with real-time troubleshooting.
- Support office logistics and procurement needs for the Nairobi office.
- Provide other administrative support as needed.
