About the role
- Serve as a part-time Major Gifts consultant for Malaria No More’s 20th Anniversary Campaign
- Engage with internal and external stakeholders
- Develop and implement a fundraising strategy
- Provide strategic guidance on unrestricted fundraising and donor engagement activities
- Play a central role in engaging potential donors
- Work in coordination with staff to develop content
- Identify new prospects for giving and maintain accurate records of donor interactions
- Support event planning based on overall strategy needs
Requirements
- Minimum 8-10 years of directly related philanthropy experience
- Excellent and persuasive writing and editing abilities
- Motivated, creative, and organized self-starter with attention to detail
- Comprehensive major gift cultivation and solicitation skills and experience
- Highly organized and detail-oriented, with strong project management skills
- Creative, innovative thinker with a problem-solving mindset
- Strong grasp of malaria and global health
- Passion for nonprofit fundraising and mission-driven work.
