About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend applications using Java 17+ and Spring Boot/Spring Framework
- Develop, maintain, and enhance Business Process Management workflows and process automation solutions
- Build and consume RESTful APIs and integrate with internal and external systems
- Deploy, manage, and troubleshoot applications on AWS, including EC2 and S3
- Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins and manage source code using GitHub
- Monitor application health, performance, and logs using Datadog and Elasticsearch
- Develop and maintain automation test suites
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software
- Participate in code reviews and follow coding, secure coding, and software engineering best practices
- Troubleshoot and resolve production issues in a timely manner
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
- 2+ years of backend application development experience with Java 17+ and Spring Boot/Spring Framework
- Strong understanding of RESTful APIs, object-oriented programming, design patterns, and software engineering principles
- Experience with Git, GitHub, and Agile methodologies including Scrum and Kanban
- Hands-on experience with automation testing frameworks such as JUnit, TestNG, Selenium, Cucumber, Rest Assured, or Karate
- Knowledge of API and integration testing with automated test suites
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced Agile environment
- Passion for learning new technologies and contributing to engineering best practices
- Proficiency in Polish and English required
- Experience with Docker and Kubernetes is an advantage
- Exposure to microservices architecture is an advantage
- Familiarity with cloud-native application development is an advantage
- Experience with Kafka or RabbitMQ is an advantage
- Knowledge of BDD/TDD practices and integrating automated tests into CI/CD pipelines is an advantage
