About the role
- Provide clear and accurate over-the-phone interpretation between Finnish and English
- Assist non-English speakers in various activities
- Impart thought, purpose, spirit, emotions, and tone from source to target language
- Comply with applicable ethics and standards
- Be aware of and use specific industry vocabulary, especially healthcare/medical terminology
Requirements
- Native in Finnish
- English: B2/C1 level
- Experience in interpretation (considered a plus)
- Good knowledge of medical / legal terminology (considered a plus)
- Windows 10 or newer OS
- Processor: Minimum Core 2 Duo 2.1 GHz; Recommended i5/i7 2.4 GHz+
- Minimum 4 GB RAM (8 GB recommended)
- Stable and fast internet connection (Wi-Fi is not allowed)
- Internet speed: 5 Mbps Download/Upload
- Noise-canceling wired USB headset
- Willingness to learn and grow professionally and personally
