About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Prepare estimates for inspections, repairs, maintenance services, and corrective work.
  • Develop pricing proposals for service agreements and contract renewals.
  • Calculate labor, materials, equipment, and subcontractor costs.
  • Review inspection reports, service records, and deficiency lists.
  • Identify required corrective actions and develop accurate repair estimates.
  • Prepare renewal proposals for existing customers and expiring service agreements.
  • Respond to customer inquiries regarding pricing adjustments and scope clarifications.
  • Communicate with vendors to obtain pricing for materials and equipment.
  • Maintain organized records of estimates, renewals, service agreements, and pricing history.

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Minimum 3 years of estimating or service pricing experience.
  • Experience preparing estimates, quotes, or proposals for service, maintenance, or repair work.
  • Ability to read and interpret inspection reports, service reports, or deficiency lists.
  • Excellent written and verbal English communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook.
  • Comfortable working independently in a remote environment.
  • Experience with CRM systems or estimating software is a plus.
  • Knowledge of fire protection systems, including fire sprinklers, fire alarms, extinguishers, and suppression systems, is highly preferred.
