About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Lead students through an inquiry-based discovery method involving instructor demonstrations, hands-on activities, and amazing take-home projects
  • Facilitate 60 minute hands-on science enrichment programs for up to 20 children using a predefined, easy-to-understand curriculum
  • 30 minute hands-on preschool science programs at local schools and daycare centers
  • Repeating 15 minute sets of demonstration or hands-on activities for groups in a rotation

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Fun and outgoing personality!
  • Experience working with children in a structured environment (e.g. classroom, preschool, summer camps)
  • A reliable car
  • Availability for assignments at least 5 days per week 8:30 to 5, occasional weekends
  • Completes background check
