About the role
- Facilitate or guide a software development product owner, team, and organization on how to use Agile/Scrum concepts, values, practices, and principles focusing on improving team effectiveness.
- Leads discussions and decision making and assists in mediation of conflict resolution.
- Creates an environment where the development team can be most effective, including but not limited to facilitating scrum events; removing impediments; coaching the team in scrum values, principles, and practices; fostering self-management and better coordination; protecting the team from outside interruptions and distractions; promoting continuous improvement; providing assistance to the Product Owner with backlog management, ensuring clear communication of business value; fostering collaboration within the team and with stakeholders; and promoting scrum practices and principles within the team.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in information technology, related field or Business with a strong understanding of software development
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience developing and maintaining AI solutions
- Knowledge and expertise with tools such as Jira and Confluence
- Knowledge and experience with developing Product Backlogs, defining sprints, developing Sprint Backlogs, and monitoring progress
- Experience with tracking progress through the use of Burndown charts and/or velocity reports
- Knowledge and experience with facilitating retrospectives.
- U.S. Citizen or Similar - Must be a U.S. Citizen.
- Excellent oral, written, and communication in English.
- Must be able to work in a team environment with members that include personnel from other companies, Government program management and administrative personnel, and technical staff members.
- Must be able to perform with minimal management oversight and have strong time management skills.
