About the role

  • Technical leadership and project management of telematics and communication technology projects for rail vehicles across the entire lifecycle
  • Requirements management, including drafting requirements specification documents and technical specifications for hardware and software development
  • Selection, engineering, integration and commissioning of telematics systems, including CBM (condition-based maintenance) use cases
  • Planning, execution and support of tests, product acceptance, and pilot and production retrofits
  • Stakeholder, supplier and reporting management, including failure analysis, troubleshooting and status reporting

Requirements

  • Degree in a technical field (e.g., Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering) or equivalent qualification
  • Minimum 5 years' experience in telematics and/or communication technology, preferably in vehicle or industrial environments
  • At least 3 years' experience in project management across the full project lifecycle
  • Experience with sensors, data transmission, communication interfaces, and regulatory requirements in the railway sector
