About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Process and reconcile corporate actions, including mandatory events such as mergers, restructurings, and entitlement postings to client accounts
  • Interpret and validate data from internal systems and external vendors to ensure accuracy of client holdings and transaction activity
  • Perform account balancing, suspense reconciliation, and exception research to resolve discrepancies
  • Support high-volume, detail-oriented transaction processing across cash, securities, and asset movements
  • Partner with internal teams including Financial Advisors, Investment Managers, and Operations to resolve transaction-related issues
  • Complete independent verification of transactions processed by team members to ensure accuracy and control integrity
  • Monitor shared team inboxes to manage incoming requests, prioritize work, and meet service level expectations
  • Assist in processing class actions and other corporate event-related activities tied to client holdings
  • Identify, escalate, and help resolve risk, compliance, or control issues in accordance with regulatory and internal standards
  • Contribute to process improvement efforts to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and client experience

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Associate’s degree or equivalent work experience
  • 1+ years’ general work experience
  • Degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field (preferred)
  • Internship or early professional experience in a corporate or financial services environment (preferred)
  • Comfort working with technology and learning new systems quickly
  • Experience with or exposure to Excel or other data tools (preferred)
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work accurately in high-volume settings
  • A demonstrated ability to learn quickly, adapt to new processes, and take on increasing complexity over time
  • Solid organizational and communication skills
