About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Participate in and execute on the Department’s Regulatory Reporting Quality Assurance (RRQA) program
  • Monitor and analyze guidance/ instructions issued by the Fed
  • Tracking and following up on data issues identified through testing until remediation/completion
  • Participate in the assessment of critical data fields
  • Participate in and execute on the Department’s data quality rule process
  • Assist in the expansion of the data quality rule process to other regulatory reporting
  • Assist with the design of other projects as applicable and occasionally lead projects of moderate scope
  • May be required to make presentations to immediate managers or peers
  • Provide cross training/support to team members
  • Participate in training and development opportunities across Finance
  • Understand and adhere to department timelines and deliverables
  • Understand and adhere to the Company’s risk and regulatory standards

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor’s degree with a minimum of 3 years’ experience OR Associate’s degree with a minimum of 5 years’ experience in accounting, auditing, operations, or financial institutions
  • Comprehensive understanding of finance, accounting, and/or regulatory reporting concepts, business operations, and bank products; knowledge of the banking industry
  • High level of PC proficiency (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Access; data visualization or data querying applications are a plus)
  • Detail-oriented with advanced problem-solving skills
  • Experience with regulatory reporting and interpretation of regulatory standards
  • Experience with transaction testing, conformance testing or audit/QA programs
  • Familiarity with data governance concepts (CDEs, Lineage, Controls, Data Quality)
