About the role
- Manage a team of quantitative analysts and modelers to support credit, interest rate risk, liquidity risk, and economic capital practices
- Oversee the end-to-end model development and implementation process
- Use analytics in a collaborative effort across multiple functions and products to derive optimum solutions
- Serve as liaison across Bank-wide stakeholders to ensure appropriate data sourcing for projects
- Lead engagements with colleagues in Model Risk Management for model validation exercises
- Mentor and supervise work of less experienced team members
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in statistics, economics, finance or related field
- Minimum of 9 years’ proven quantitative behavioral modeling experience
- Minimum of 3 years’ managerial experience
- At least 10 years of credit model experience
- Proven ability/demonstrated success in providing thought leadership & influencing enterprise wide modeling practices
- Proven experience managing and analyzing large data sets
- Experience with statistical software packages (e.g. SAS, Python, Stata, R)
- Experience with data management environment, such as SQL Server Management Studio
