About the role
- Accountable for defining and executing product vision and roadmap for Loan Agency capabilities; reporting to the Senior Product Owner for Loan Agency
- Define and manage OKRs that align with Institutional Services business priorities
- Create and maintain a prioritized feature list reflecting business architecture and evolving user needs
- Build and maintain current and future-state business process and workflow models
- Translate strategic goals into actionable delivery roadmaps, balancing short-term execution with long-term transformation
- Focus on outcomes over outputs using design thinking and analytics
- Define, own, and deliver the vision and roadmap for one or more major business technology products
- Prioritize and groom backlog; write clear user stories and specify acceptance criteria using ATDD
- Develop and update capacity and demand plans to ensure proper resourcing
- Make autonomous decisions to keep delivery aligned with vision and strategy
- Own and drive evolution of deal and facility setup, trade processing, and lifecycle servicing in Loan IQ and integrations
- Optimize loan servicing operations including cashflows, payments, notices, and reconciliations
- Enhance client and operational reporting, focusing on simplification, standardization, and self-service
- Act as the voice of the client; advocate for issuer, investor, and internal operational team needs
- Provide stakeholders with progress updates through dashboards and reporting tools
- Collaborate with other Product Owners to align client journeys and dependent backlogs
- Understand and adhere to Company risk, regulatory standards, policies and controls; identify risk issues needing escalation
- Maintain internal control standards and implement audit/regulatory points
- Manage and administer platform for Institutional Services including user onboarding, entitlement management, upgrades, issue resolution, and support coordination
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree and a minimum of 4 years’ business, analytical, technical and/or product experience
- OR in lieu of a degree, a combined minimum of 8 years’ higher education and/or work experience, including a minimum of 4 years’ business, analytical, technical and/or product experience
- Proven experience in digital product ownership/management within corporate trust, capital markets, transaction banking, or commercial banking contexts
- Understanding of Design Thinking principles and applying them in the day to day of digital product design and development best practices
- Agile delivery experience with backlog management in Jira or similar tools
- Strong stakeholder management, communication, and problem-solving skills
- Understanding of corporate bank loan market, including broadly syndicated, private credit, and / or distressed bank loans and Loan IQ or equivalent loan servicing platform
- Preferred: Product Management experience with corporate loans platforms, with hands-on expertise in Loan IQ and integrations
- Preferred: Exposure to fintech platforms and emerging technologies
- Preferred: Demonstrated ability to stitch together vendor platform, APIs, and internal systems
- Preferred: Agile or product certifications (CSPO, SAFe POPM, or similar)
