About the role
- Support distribution design/engineering of projects implemented among clients in multiple states
- Produce electric distribution field designs and prepare construction prints
- Perform distribution line design calculations for structure loading and construction practices
- Ensure adherence to client standards for developing detailed scoping and engineering plans
- Mentor and train other staff members to transfer design knowledge
Requirements
- Must possess a high school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to pass background check and drug screening
- Possess a current Texas Drivers License with an insurable driving record
- Associates degree or certificate in Electric Power Technology (preferred)
- Minimum of one (1) year experience or three (3) years prior experience with electric distribution design and estimation
- Strong analytical and technical problem-solving skills
- Proficient with the use of a laptop and related software programs including, MS Outlook, MS Excel, and MS Word
