About the role
- Produce electric distribution field designs
- Staking of distribution facilities
- Project estimation
- Preparation of construction prints
- Report to the office and not remote
Requirements
- Must possess a High school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to pass background check and drug screening
- Possess a current Texas Drivers License with an insurable driving record
- Ability to represent self professionally
- Ability to stay abreast with changing technologies
- Ability to mentor and/or train other staff members
- Proficient with the design of both overhead and underground electric distribution facilities
- Ability to perform distribution line design calculations
- Ability to take personal responsibility for the quality and accuracy of work product
- Strong analytical and technical problem solving skills
- Ability to multi-task several projects
- Proficient with a laptop computer and related software programs including MS Outlook, MS Excel and MS Word
- Ability to communicate effectively, orally and in writing
- Strong skills of time management and multi-tasking
- Ability to work outdoors in various climate conditions
- Ability to walk over and across various terrain and carry surveying instruments
