About the role
- Lead “shift left” security initiatives
- Design, implement, and review cloud-based solutions utilizing AWS services
- Develop, test, and maintain CI/CD pipelines
- Implement and manage monitoring and alerting systems
- Collaborate with development teams for deployment and release
- Troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure and networking issues
- Automate infrastructure management tasks with Ansible and Terraform
- Manage AWS security through services such as Inspector, WAF, CloudWatch, GuardDuty, and Detective
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field
- 3+ years of experience as a DevOps Engineer
- Proven proficiency in AWS services (EC2, RDS, S3, Lambda, etc.)
- Understand and actively contribute to network and cloud security
- Hands-on experience in tools like AWS WAF, Inspector, and Security Hub
- Experience managing AWS VPC networks, IAM policies, and roles
- Expertise in containerization technologies like Docker and Kubernetes
- Strong understanding of CI/CD principles
- Experience in Jenkins and GitLab CI
- Proficient in configuration management tools such as Ansible and Terraform
- Excellent troubleshooting skills
