PIMS Systems Analyst
LYNX PROCESSDesign and deploy PI System (PIMS) solutions for real-time data collection and monitoring. Work with cross-functional teams to deliver reliable, secure industrial data systems and dashboards.
About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Design and implement solution architectures using the PI System for real-time data collection, analysis, and monitoring.
- Develop and configure tags, interfaces, analyses, and dashboards in the PI System to meet business requirements.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and provide appropriate technical solutions.
- Perform testing, debugging, and optimization to ensure PI System performance and reliability.
- Experience in deployment and configuration of PIMS servers, including architecture security configurations.
- Integrations between PIMS and other systems.
- Knowledge of PI System capabilities, including PI Server, PI Interfaces, PI Vision, PI AF, PI Analysis, and PI Notifications.
- Properly document all projects and processes related to the PI System.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, Information Technology, or related fields.
- Knowledge of database administration.
- Knowledge of OPC.
- Strong experience in deployment and operation of industrial systems.
- Knowledge of networking.
- Knowledge of PIMS (desirable).
- OSIsoft PI System Infrastructure Specialist certification (desirable).
- Essential competencies include customer relationship management, adherence to deadlines, and efficient requirements gathering.
- Intermediate level English (desirable).
