About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Analyze existing SAP systems: data models, processes, interfaces
ABAP development and extensions: function modules, BAPIs, User Exits, Enhancement Spots, CDS Views
Design and implement interface solutions between the SAP backend and our microservice platform
Translate business requirements into technical SAP solutions
Debugging and troubleshooting in complex SAP landscapes
Contribute to BTP integration scenarios: iFlow configuration, OData service connectivity, RFC/BAPI mapping
Document interfaces, enhancements and solution designs

Requirements

What you’ll need

Strong ABAP skills: OO-ABAP, CDS Views, BAPIs, RFC, User Exits, Enhancement Framework
Project experience in SAP implementations or integration projects
Understanding of SAP data models and business processes
Experience with S/4HANA and the Clean Core approach
Basic knowledge of SAP BTP: Integration Suite, OData, Cloud Connector
Experience in the energy sector or regulated infrastructure industries (utilities, municipal utilities, SAP IS-U) is a clear plus
