About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Provision and manage resources in our Private Cloud (CloudStack), ensuring that 100% of the infrastructure is delivered via Terraform (IaC).
Maintain and evolve the XenServer hypervisor layer and the CloudStack orchestration platform.
Continuously monitor the environment using Tenable, identifying security gaps and ensuring compliance.
Scale OS patch automation using Ansible and n8n, ensuring secure, zero-downtime updates (rolling updates).
Eliminate manual tasks by converting vulnerability remediations into reusable, automated playbooks.
Ensure environment integrity through GitOps, where Git is the single source of truth and all changes go through code review and CI/CD pipelines.
Connect tools by developing intelligent flows in n8n to integrate security alerts with our messaging and automation systems.

Requirements

What you’ll need

Strong technical expertise in IaC: Advanced experience with Terraform and Ansible (playbooks, roles, and configuration automation).
Experience with Private Cloud: Solid experience with Apache CloudStack and XenServer.
Operational security focus: Practical knowledge of Tenable and vulnerability remediation methods (hardening, SSL/TLS, ciphers).
Automation mindset: Experience with n8n or similar workflow tools for process integration.
DevSecOps culture: Strong command of Git (Gitflow, Conventional Commits) and CI/CD fundamentals.
Solid systems foundation: Proficiency in advanced Linux system administration.
Behavioral profile: An obsessive focus on automating processes and analytical ability to read technical reports and propose business solutions.
Knowledge of XCP-ng or Xen Orchestra is a plus.
Ability with Python or shell scripting for developing custom automations.
Industry certifications: LPI, HashiCorp Certified (Terraform), or security-focused certifications are a plus.
