About the role
- Publish technical tutorials, how-tos, and deep dives
- Improve existing documentation (based on community feedback)
- Host live coding streams, technical webinars, and record video tutorials
- Share solutions to real-world problems you (or customers) have faced
- Identify collaboration opportunities
- Actively participate in repository discussions and relevant forums
- Respond to issues with helpful solutions and technical questions
- Create and maintain example repositories, starter kits, and boilerplates
- Build genuine (non-transactional) relationships
- Help developers who want to write or speak about our product
- Perform social listening in technical channels
- Identify recurring pain points that the product can address
- Report bugs, feature requests, and usability issues found in communities
- Identify opportunities for open-source contributions
Requirements
- Experience as a software developer
- Balance between technical authenticity and awareness of business objectives
- Familiarity with tools and workflows (Git, CI/CD, RESTful APIs, containers)
- Technical portfolio required: active GitHub profile, personal projects, channel contributions, and examples of content you have created
- Ability to explain complex technical concepts clearly
- Comfortable and effective at teaching
- Understanding of developers' pain points, frustrations, and motivations
- Ability to measure impact
