About the role

  • Positioning and Messaging: Develop and refine the value proposition, competitive positioning, and key messages to differentiate products in the market and ensure alignment across the conversion funnel through to adoption.
  • Pricing and Packaging: Conduct value and competitive analyses to recommend adjustments and optimizations to pricing structures and product plan packaging with the goal of increasing new sales.
  • Go-to-Market (GTM): Lead planning and execution of launches for new products and features (GTM), ensuring readiness and alignment across all involved teams.
  • Analytical Insight and Optimization: Use performance and user behavior data to identify gaps and opportunities in the funnel. Special focus on applying Product-Led Growth (PLG) strategies to optimize conversion of trials/freemium users into paying customers.
  • Sales Enablement: Develop materials, campaigns, and training that enable the sales team to effectively offer the products.
  • Direct Interface with Product: Act as the voice of the market and the customer, providing continuous insights (competitive intelligence and trends) to influence the product roadmap and evolution.
  • Direct Interface with Marketing: Collaborate with Marketing and Performance teams to ensure marketing campaigns accurately reflect product positioning and meet acquisition objectives.

Requirements

  • Strategic Expertise: Hands-on experience defining product positioning, pricing, and repackaging.
  • Advanced Analytical Insight: Ability to collect, analyze, and interpret funnel, market, and customer data to inform strategic Product Marketing (PMM) decisions.
  • Knowledge of PLG and GTM: Experience executing Go-to-Market strategies and applying Product-Led Growth tactics.
  • Interpersonal Skills: Proven ability to collaborate and communicate effectively with Product, Sales, and Marketing teams.
  • Tools: Proficiency in Excel/Google Sheets. Experience with GA 360 and Tableau is a plus.
