About the role

  • Lead the technical migration of legacy systems to microservices;
  • Define architectural standards, guidelines and engineering best practices;
  • Conduct in-depth analysis of legacy components (primarily PHP) and propose modernization paths;
  • Design scalable, resilient and observable microservices;
  • Work closely with the product team to support structural decisions;
  • Mentor and train mid-level and senior software engineers to raise the team's technical level;
  • Implement critical components and high-impact frameworks that define the technical direction of projects;
  • Monitor technical debt and guide prioritization;
  • Share knowledge about distributed architectures;
  • Ensure system quality, security and performance;
  • Promote a DevOps/SRE culture by automating deployments, monitoring and continuous delivery pipelines.

Requirements

  • Strong experience with microservices architecture;
  • Solid background in modernizing legacy systems;
  • Experience with highly complex, large-scale systems;
  • Deep knowledge of best practices: SOLID, Clean Code, Design Patterns;
  • Experience with relational and non-relational databases;
  • Experience with messaging systems and event-driven architecture;
  • Experience with CI/CD, Docker, observability and monitoring;
  • Proficiency with Git and version control tools;
  • Technical English.
