About the role
- Identify vulnerabilities, assess risks, and develop security strategies aligned with business objectives
- Conduct penetration tests, vulnerability assessments, and threat modeling for networks, applications, and cloud environments
- Detect, investigate, and remediate security incidents, performing root-cause analysis and post-incident reporting
- Develop and enforce security policies, ensure compliance with standards like ISO 27001, NIST, or CIS
- Oversee security monitoring, review logs and alerts, and implement continuous improvements to security controls
Requirements
- +5 years experience in years in cybersecurity roles with hands-on exposure to networks, systems, cloud, and security operations
- +3 years experience with Cybersecurity Incident Responder
- Knowledge of penetration testing, vulnerability management, incident response, and security monitoring tools
- Familiarity with standards such as ISO 27001, NIST, CIS, GDPR, or other relevant regulations
- Ability to analyze complex security issues, identify risks, and implement effective solutions
- Capability to explain technical risks clearly to non-technical stakeholders and advise executive leadership
- Certifications (preferable) like CISSP, CISM, CEH, OSCP, or cloud security certifications like AWS/Azure Security
