Job Level

About the role

  • Perform preventive maintenance and operational tasks for cloud environments.
  • Monitor system performance and proactively identify potential issues.
  • Manage and resolve incidents, including participation in on-call rotations for critical incidents.
  • Execute standard operating procedures and follow runbooks.
  • Collaborate with the client and internal teams to ensure service availability and performance.
  • Provide clear and effective communication in English during support activities and escalations.
  • Document work performed and update incident records and knowledge base.
  • Assist in capacity planning and service improvement initiatives.
  • Support automation and optimization efforts when possible.

Requirements

  • Some level of experience in previous roles
  • Experience in Windows Systems Administration or Unix/Linux Systems Administration
  • Experience with SQL Database Administration
  • Experience with Cloud Network Administration
  • Ability to work the client-aligned schedule (07:00–16:00 Portugal time) and participate in on-call rotation (16:00–07:00)
  • English B2 level (fluency needed)
  • Experience with IAS and Virtual Machines (administration + maintenance)
  • Experience with AD connect and Trademicro
  • Experience in multi-cloud environments (Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud)
  • Knowledge of automation tools (PowerShell, Python, Ansible, Terraform)
  • ITIL foundation or similar IT service management knowledge
  • Experience with monitoring tools (e.g., Zabbix, Nagios, Datadog, Prometheus)
