About the role

  • Design test cases based on functional and non-functional requirements;
  • Create automated app tests for Android and iOS;
  • Maintain automated tests and prepare test data;
  • Execute manual tests, including regression testing;
  • Log, track bugs, report on test progress;
  • Collaborate with the team in defining and reviewing test cases and test evidence;
  • Promote good testing practices within the team;

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or similar (preferred)
  • +2 years of experience in mobile test automation for Android and iOS
  • Knowledge of testing and a clear interest in automation using Cucumber / Appium / Java
  • Experience in projects using BDD (Behavior Driven Development)
  • Experience in designing and executing manual tests
  • Ability to analyze written requirements as input for test case design
  • Strong communication skills with different types of stakeholders: business analysts, application managers, developers, and business areas, among others
  • Autonomy in performing tasks
  • Ability to work in a multidisciplinary team
  • Experience using Confluence and Jira (including X-Ray or equivalent).
  • Ability to prepare test data and validate results by querying databases, invoking APIs, or using other programmatic methods, not limited to screen-based validation
  • Knowledge of agile methodologies, such as Scrum, Kanban, etc.
  • Experience in banking projects.
