About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Manage international shipments (air, ocean, courier) from factories to US warehouses/3PLs
Coordinate pre-shipment readiness, inspections, and documentation with overseas suppliers
Handle domestic logistics (FTL/LTL) within the US with real-time visibility
Maintain compliance with US customs, duties, and documentation standards
Track all shipment milestones and keep internal teams updated
Build and maintain relationships with freight forwarders, brokers, and trucking partners
Negotiate freight rates and reconcile invoices with finance
Coordinate with Chinese suppliers during the morning shift
Perform other operational responsibilities during the evening shift

Requirements

What you’ll need

Deep understanding of international and domestic logistics operations
Strong knowledge of customs documentation, HS codes, and import processes
Proficiency in Excel and shipment tracking tools
Excellent communication and coordination abilities
Detail-oriented with a strong commitment to SOPs adherence
Ability to coordinate with Chinese suppliers during the morning shift
Ability to work the evening operational shift
Experience managing shipments by air, ocean, and courier
Knowledge of US customs, duties, and documentation standards
Experience with FTL/LTL domestic logistics within the US
