About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Coordinate and provide care to clients that are safe, timely, effective, efficient, equitable, and client centered.
  • Provide case management, pregnancy counseling, parenting and adoption education, community education and outreach, and post-adoption support for birth parents.
  • Create a service plan in conjunction with the client to develop goals and objectives that are consistent with what the client wishes to accomplish.
  • Counsel, advocate, and teach clients the skills identified in their service plan face to face in home or virtually.
  • Respond to client’s crisis situations within program parameters in a timely manner according to program protocols.

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, Criminal Justice, or other Human Behavior Science.
  • Two years’ experience in child welfare, working with children and families.
  • Candidates must be a licensed driver with access to a dependable personal transportation and auto insurance.
  • Passion for making a difference and supporting families through life’s challenges.
