About the role
- Lead the full lifecycle of asset management activities, including acquisition, utilization, maintenance, and disposal.
- Develop and implement asset management strategies, policies, and governance frameworks aligned with corporate objectives.
- Maintain accurate asset records and reporting in SAP, perform valuations, and ensure proper documentation for financial and operational purposes.
- Monitor asset performance, identify optimization opportunities, and recommend improvements.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure assets are deployed effectively and efficiently.
- Ensure compliance with relevant regulations, internal controls, and corporate policies.
- Prepare regular reports and dashboards for senior management regarding asset status, performance, and risk.
Requirements
- Proven experience as an Asset Manager or in a similar role, ideally in a corporate, multinational environment.
- Strong knowledge of asset lifecycle management, accounting standards, and regulatory requirements.
- Hands-on experience with SAP Asset Accounting (FI-AA) and/or SAP ERP modules related to asset management is highly desirable.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to lead cross-functional teams and coordinate with diverse business units.
- Fluent English; additional language skills are a plus.
- Experience with enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems, asset tracking tools, or large-scale asset optimization projects is highly desirable.
