About the role

  • Create short-form animated ads and social content for our music brands
  • Animate characters, avatars, and graphic elements in After Effects
  • Turn existing designs and concepts into engaging animations and variations
  • Build multiple versions of creatives for testing (formats, hooks, pacing, styles)
  • Add and sync basic voice-overs using AI tools when needed
  • Add captions/subtitles and prepare assets for paid media and social platforms
  • Adapt animations into multiple formats (9:16, 1:1, 16:9) and languages
  • Iterate and optimize existing animations based on performance
  • Test new visual styles, characters, and storytelling approaches
  • Focus on happy, friendly, emotional, and accessible animation styles (often for kids / families / mood-based use cases)
  • Work closely with the Head of Music and our Creative Lead

Requirements

  • 2+ years of experience as a Motion Designer / Animator
  • Strong skills in After Effects (character animation, expressions, transitions, motion systems)
  • Comfortable creating animations from scratch – not just editing footage
  • Experience with short-form animated content for ads or social media
  • A versatile style range (cute, playful, emotional, simple, clean)
  • A performance mindset: you care about what works, not just what looks good
  • Basic video editing skills (transitions, subtitles, voice-over sync)
  • Independent, fast, and reliable execution style
  • Fluent in English (German is a plus)
