About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Own and drive manual testing strategy across all phases of the XR and web development lifecycle.
  • Perform functional, regression, integration, smoke, usability, and exploratory testing for XR applications.
  • Validate performance, stability, rendering quality, tracking accuracy, and device-specific limitations.
  • Ensure consistent quality standards across multiple hardware platforms, devices, and operating systems.
  • Create, maintain, and continuously improve test plans, test cases, acceptance criteria, and test reports.
  • Work closely with the production, design, and engineering teams to clarify requirements and define testable acceptance criteria.
  • Actively participate in sprint planning, backlog refinement, and release readiness reviews to ensure quality alignment.
  • Contribute to the evolution of QA processes, standards, and best practices within the team.
  • Mentor junior QA engineers and support knowledge-sharing and onboarding initiatives.
  • Help refine internal testing templates, device coverage strategies, and XR-specific testing workflows.

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • 5+ years of experience in Manual QA,
  • Proven hands-on experience testing VR/AR/XR applications or games at a senior manual level.
  • Strong expertise in functional, regression, integration, and exploratory testing for multi-module systems.
  • Experience with API testing using tools such as Postman, Swagger, or similar.
  • Deep understanding of QA methodologies, test design techniques, defect lifecycle management, and risk-based testing.
  • Demonstrated ability to produce high-quality test documentation, including test plans, test cases, acceptance criteria, and reports.
  • Proactive mindset with strong prioritization skills and ability to make quality-driven decisions under changing conditions.
  • Comfortable working in fast-paced, iterative development environments with evolving requirements.
  • Ability to work independently within distributed, cross-functional teams.
  • Upper-intermediate or higher level of English.
