About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Drive and operate a bucket truck
Run a crew of 2 to 3 people
Manually remove vegetation from work areas
Operate various forestry equipment
Perform line clearance, pruning, and removals
Learn to operate a bucket 75 feet in the air and operate equipment safely
Learn to climb trees using proper tools of the trade
Obtain and maintain licenses and certifications as required by the position
Complete post-offer physical and drug screen, background check, and motor vehicle check

Requirements

What you’ll need

Previous experience in the tree industry required
Current and valid CDL A or B with Air Brake endorsement preferred
Proven safety record
Must be at least 18 years of age
High School Diploma/GED/or equivalent
Ability to work outside in various types of weather
Physical ability to perform the position requirements
Willingness and ability to learn bucket operation up to 75 feet in the air
Willingness and ability to learn tree climbing using proper tools
Willingness and ability to obtain and maintain licenses and certifications as required
Successfully complete a post-offer physical and drug screen
Successfully complete a background and motor vehicle check
Clean safety record
