About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Act as the company’s subject matter expert in all things CAD/CAM
Administer all related software, along with development and maintenance of CAD/CAM standards
Perform CAD/CAM database maintenance and administer the Autodesk Vault system
Maintains licensing and updates for all CAD/CAM related software
Provide technical support, advice, and assistance with computer hardware and software system problems
Provide onsite support to modify, install, clean, and repair computer software and hardware
Provide support for file translation and interoperability between CAD systems
Develop and deliver training programs for CAD/CAM users

Requirements

What you’ll need

Associate degree in Information Technology, Drafting, Engineering Technology, or a related field with 3–5 years of related experience OR Bachelor’s degree in a related field with 2–3 years of related experience
Basic knowledge of AutoCAD and/or Inventor
Basic understanding of engineering drawings
Familiarity with Windows operating systems
Strong troubleshooting and customer service skills
Proficiency with Autodesk Vault
Experience with Inventor and AutoCAD
Working knowledge of CAM software
Understanding of machining and fabrication workflows
Experience supporting engineering environments
