About the role
- Define and maintain the product roadmap for SRE platform capabilities, aligned with business and technical priorities.
- Translate platform capabilities into measurable business outcomes such as reduced time-to-market, improved developer productivity, and enhanced system reliability.
- Partner with engineering, architecture, and security teams to gather requirements, prioritise features, and drive adoption.
- Champion platform engineering principles such as golden paths, self-service infrastructure, and developer experience.
- Define and track SLOs, SLIs, and error budgets to improve platform reliability and performance.
- Establish and monitor key product metrics such as platform adoption rates, deployment frequency, change failure rate, and mean time to recovery (MTTR).
- Drive clear documentation, demos, and training to support platform adoption and understanding.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in product management or technical leadership roles within cloud infrastructure, SRE, or platform engineering.
- Strong understanding of Azure services, enterprise landing zones, and Microsoft’s Cloud Adoption Framework.
- Familiarity with DevSecOps practices, CI/CD tooling (e.g., GitHub Actions, GitLab, Azure DevOps), and Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Bicep).
- Experience working in Agile environments with a strong grasp of Agile ceremonies and product lifecycle management.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to translate technical concepts into business value.
