Key responsibilities & impact

Preparing, developing, and analysing financial information for decision making
Preparing month-end accounts close and review processes for accuracy
Responsible for on boarding of additional scope and aligning process
Ensuring teams meet tight reporting deadlines with accuracy
Preparation of Balance Sheet reconciliations and substantiations
Support the external audit process, liaising with external auditors
Adherence to internal controls as per group policies
Support Group projects and ensure implementation of new systems
Collaborating with teams and driving continuous improvement activities

Requirements

What you’ll need

Professional accounting degree with minimum 4 years of experience in General Accounting
Strong track record in Processing core accounting transactions and consolidations
Background in a finance shared services environment would be added advantage
Financial control process including account reconciliations and substantiations
Hands on experience in SAP, Oracle, Oracle Fusion, and Blackline will be an added advantage
Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office Packages, especially in Excel
Excellent communication skills in oral & written English
Adaptable to working in a constantly evolving environment to meet business priorities and deadlines
Strong process orientation, with ability to craft robust reporting frameworks
Ability to build strong working relationships with global colleagues
