About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Preparing, developing, and analysing financial information for decision making
- Preparing month-end accounts close and review processes for accuracy
- Responsible for on boarding of additional scope and aligning process
- Ensuring teams meet tight reporting deadlines with accuracy
- Preparation of Balance Sheet reconciliations and substantiations
- Support the external audit process, liaising with external auditors
- Adherence to internal controls as per group policies
- Support Group projects and ensure implementation of new systems
- Collaborating with teams and driving continuous improvement activities
Requirements
What you’ll need- Professional accounting degree with minimum 4 years of experience in General Accounting
- Strong track record in Processing core accounting transactions and consolidations
- Background in a finance shared services environment would be added advantage
- Financial control process including account reconciliations and substantiations
- Hands on experience in SAP, Oracle, Oracle Fusion, and Blackline will be an added advantage
- Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office Packages, especially in Excel
- Excellent communication skills in oral & written English
- Adaptable to working in a constantly evolving environment to meet business priorities and deadlines
- Strong process orientation, with ability to craft robust reporting frameworks
- Ability to build strong working relationships with global colleagues
