About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Define and execute the engineering strategy for all cash-in, billing, rating, and revenue-related platforms across the Group.
Lead the design and implementation of the Group-wide Billing Transformation Programme, modernising legacy platforms into scalable, modular, cloud-ready architectures.
Lead engineering teams responsible for build, integration, testing, release, and operations of all cash-in platforms.
Drive modern engineering practices including CI/CD, DevSecOps, API-driven design, automated testing, platform reliability, and cloud adoption.
Communicate engineering decisions and architectural direction to senior leaders and executive forums.
Build, lead, and inspire a high-performing, diverse engineering organisation.

Requirements

What you’ll need

Hands-on, deep experience with Oracle Revenue Management & Billing (ORMB) including configuration, integration patterns, data models, and customisation approaches.
Strong familiarity with SAP SD, including convergent charging, convergent invoicing, subscription order management, and integration architecture.
Experience with billing platforms such as Keylight, Zuora, Amdocs, Netcracker, or similar (advantageous).
Strong understanding of revenue processes, payment flows, credit management, and financial compliance requirements.
Experience building cloud-native solutions and transforming monolithic billing systems to modern architectures (e.g., microservices, APIs, event-based billing).
Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or related discipline.
Advanced certifications in enterprise architecture, cloud, or billing systems beneficial.
10+ years in senior engineering leadership roles, ideally in billing, revenue, or finance tech domains.
