About the role
- Hunt for new prospects and opportunities with new and existing customers
- Meet and exceed targets by leading with customer value and winning trust
- Structure, negotiate and close deals for real-time and time-series data solutions
- Monitor sales pipeline and proactively identify daily opportunities
- Inspire customers to renew contracts and drive customer retention
- Commercialize next-generation software and data solutions for broker-dealers, asset managers and corporates (front/middle/back office)
- Execute strategy for long-term sustainable growth of LSEG’s footprint
- Work with local Account Management, Product, Marketing, Sales Strategy and external partners to deliver results
- Partner with technical sales engineering experts to deliver customer demonstrations
- Monitor competitors, analyze market dynamics and develop competitive strategies
- Drive thought leadership and support community building
- Work to tight deadlines in a high-performance environment
Requirements
- 7+ years of experience in selling Realtime Direct, low latency data-feeds
- Experience selling timeseries data for quant and strategy development workflows
- Outstanding solutions selling skills with a proven Track Record in a quota-bearing environment
- Highly driven and self-motivated
- Knowledge and direct experience in selling solutions to the Financial Services community
- Creative problem solver and good sales ideation skills
- Presentation skills (verbal & written)
- Strong listening skills and interpersonal skills
- Expert understanding of the Financial Services and Competitor Landscape
- Strong technical knowledge within the financial markets trade and execution domain
- Ability to structure, negotiate and close deals
- Experience partnering with technical sales engineering and cross-functional teams
