About the role
- Own one or more medium complexity software components from design to testing with guidance
- Perform coding and testing on complex components with high-level mentorship
- Analyse requirements and embed changes into current design with mentorship
- Follow SDLC practices and standards according to company policies
- Communicate clearly on components with internal and external parties
- Shadow certain Tech lead tasks as needed, e.g., Scrum master role
- Maintain CI/CD pipelines to support software integration and deployment
Requirements
- Computer Science or Engineering degree from a recognized, accredited university
- Very good understanding of object-oriented analysis and design
- Hands on experience in C++, Java or Python (2+ years)
- Experience in building solutions by integrating open source and third party components
- Strong and effective interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group of clients, staff and vendors
