About the role
- Leads quality control tests and analysis of outcomes in a software development life cycle
- Develops testing programmes throughout the entire technologies’ lifecycles
- Leads a wide range of quality control planning and execution activities
- Gathers testing requirements by evaluating product requirement specifications
- Handles test scripts/cases autonomously
- Owns the ongoing maintenance of customer technologies
- Recommends and supports the implementation of improvements to quality control frameworks
- Builds trusting relationships with team and colleagues
- Communicates clearly with the team to ensure full understanding of tasks
Requirements
- Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or equivalent
- A minimum of 5 years’ experience in the software industry
- Hands-on work with software quality frameworks using Java or Python
- ISTQB Core Foundation Certified or equivalent
- Good knowledge in software quality assurance processes
- Good experience in manual, test automation or performance testing
- Good experience in the software development life cycle and one programming language, preferably in multi-tiered applications.
