About the role

  • Manage and coordinate Monthly Close activities in SAP and Oracle
  • Manage the Technology leases related accounting process
  • Manage and develop direct report, providing training and guidance on best practice
  • Production of key supporting schedules and accounting memos for significant costs
  • Create a control framework to highlight any potential accounting issues
  • Manage/understand project accounting entries for respective Division
  • Coordinate the preparation of balance sheet schedules
  • Manage and coordinate audit responses

Requirements

  • Professional Accounting Qualification - ACA/ACCA/CIMA (or overseas equivalent)
  • Advance level Excel
  • Experience in Month End cycle and financial control
  • Good working knowledge of IAS/IFRS
  • Proven ability to form strong relationships with customers and stakeholders
  • Comfortable working autonomously as well as part of a team
  • Proven ability to meet deadlines as well as working to a monthly close timetable
