About the role

  • Responsible for managing the payroll team and payroll activities for a subset of countries
  • Assists in the development of payroll procedures
  • Ensures all government reporting requirements for payroll taxes, withholding and employer contributions
  • Trains, develops and evaluates payroll team members
  • Acts as subject matter expert for payroll legislation and taxes in all countries they manage
  • Reconciles complex payroll matters using advanced excel skills, formulas and macros
  • Reconciles and signs off on payroll completion for countries they manage

Requirements

  • Degree or equivalent and / or relevant qualification
  • Significant and varied experience in the appropriate specialist HR area
  • Significant people management and leadership experience
  • Knowledge of the relationship between functions within the company
