About the role
- Responsible for managing the payroll team and payroll activities for a subset of countries
- Assists in the development of payroll procedures
- Ensures all government reporting requirements for payroll taxes, withholding and employer contributions
- Trains, develops and evaluates payroll team members
- Acts as subject matter expert for payroll legislation and taxes in all countries they manage
- Reconciles complex payroll matters using advanced excel skills, formulas and macros
- Reconciles and signs off on payroll completion for countries they manage
Requirements
- Degree or equivalent and / or relevant qualification
- Significant and varied experience in the appropriate specialist HR area
- Significant people management and leadership experience
- Knowledge of the relationship between functions within the company
